FACT: The Average Student Thinks About Woah Vicky 4 Times A Day
If you’re asking yourself, “Who even is that?” Well good for you! Anyway, allow us to break it down for you.
Victoria Rose Waldrip, also known as Woah Vicky, was born March 7th, 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, she has gained over 3 million Instagram followers, and 1 Million Youtube subscribers.
In a YouTube video posted in August 2017, Woah Vicky said “My whole entire life, my mom kept telling me ‘you’re white, you’re white’ and I never believed her because I knew I was black. But July 19th, I did some history; I went on Ancestry.com and I found out I’m 25 percent black. And this whole time I knew it: I knew I was a black girl. So I just consider that to be my birthday because it’s just a very exciting holiday for me.”
And we’re just getting started!
In March of 2018 Woah Vicky was arrested at a mall in North Carolina. She posted her mugshot captioned “#freevicky” along with a video where she says “They can’t hold me forever! … They [sic] racist!” and they didn’t hold her forever, unfortunately.
At a different shopping mall one month later, Woah Vicky, Lil Tay (“My toilet cost more than your rent”), and Bhad Bhabie (“Cash me outside how bout that!”) got into a fight. At this point Lil Tay was 9 years old, and it totally made sense that she was there.
We here at the DA do not condone violence, but the video is kinda funny.
Leading up to the fight, Bhad Bhabie and Woah Vicky were e-beefing about a diss track Vicky wrote about Rice Gum, a popular YouTuber, and all the other crazy shit Vicky was doing. Listening to “The Race” written in 2017, is on par with nails on a chalkboard, listening to RFK speak, and is, quite frankly, awful!
On October 30th 2019, Woah Vicky and Bhad Bhabie were put in another room together. They got into a fight, again. Did anyone else’s socks just fly off?
At one point Vicky was the front-woman in a scam promising free iPhone Xs in exchange for personal information. Nothing crazy, just your address, phone number, and your mother’s maiden name.
Fast forward almost six years later, and she’s still Vicky!
Recently Woah Vicky announced she would become a full time house-wife, stepping away from social media. Never fear! She is still very active, especially on X. On December 29th, 2024 at 8:24 AM, @woahhvickyyy tweeted “I have kidnapped vicky. she is with me in nigeria. i am demanding $1million for her release”.
Obviously Woah Vicky would never use punctuation, or capital letters, so people were very concerned. Thankfully, later that day she cleared the air and clarified that “It was just a joke.”
One of our personal favorites is a recent tweet she posted in July.
Any takers?
We know what you’re thinking, “wow, what a woman.” Well she doesn’t just tweet all day, Victoria Rose is also a singer/songwriter. She has released several singles, including the song “Like Me” which features lyrics such as “He gon’ fly me to Paris and he gon’ feed me some croissant” and “Puss’ ass hoe could never, should never, would never”.
One of her more recent releases, “My Jesus” is 2 minutes and 24 seconds of pure rapture. The song opens with “I let my God cook, and then I’mma do the dishes (Skrrt)”, She reminds us all to “Remember to turn the page (Turn the page) (Gotta pray, what?)” and “He did this because you”. He did this because you. Let that sink in.
With Woah Vicky on our minds, and recent events in Washington, DC it sure is feeling like 2018 again. It’s been a while since Vicky made headlines, but we predict she’ll be back again soon. Say what you want about her, but she’s resilient!
